DoesQA Stop When Element Not Displayed step node: Stop when an element is not displayed

Stop When Element Not Displayed

Exit a path once the UI moves on

Stop When Element Not Displayed ends the remaining steps in the Test Case when an element is no longer shown. Use it as a conditional exit when later steps only apply while that UI is present.

Use it on journeys with optional UI:

  • Overlays and modals that disappear

  • Panels that do not stay on screen

  • Optional prompts

Stop When Element Not Displayed pairs with Stop When Element Is Displayed on another branch and Stop When Value to exit on data. Use Wait For Element To Not Be Displayed to wait instead of stopping.
