Set SessionStorage writes a key and value into browser sessionStorage. Use it to seed tab-scoped state before the application reads it in the same page session.
Use it to start mid-journey:
Checkout or wizard state for the current tab
Known test data for a predictable UI
Session flags
Set SessionStorage pairs with Check SessionStorage to confirm the value, Store SessionStorage to reuse it and Delete SessionStorage to reset.
