Clear
Start every form entry from an empty field
Clear removes the current value from an input element. Add it before you type when a field arrives prefilled, or when the next check needs the field empty.
It keeps form tests predictable on:
Search boxes that remember the last query
Edit forms that load saved values
Fields your app prefills from a profile
Validation checks on empty required fields
Clear pairs well with Set Input, which types the new text, and Send Keys for Enter or Tab once the field is filled. Confirm the result with Check Value.
