DoesQA Axe step node: Axe accessibility scan

Axe

Scan the current page for WCAG issues in any Run you add it to.

Axe runs a WCAG conformance scan on the page during the run. Choose the conformance level your team expects, from WCAG 2.0 A to WCAG 2.2 AA, with WCAG 2.1 AA as the default.

Use it in the same journey as your functional steps:

  • Full pages after they load

  • Screens behind login

  • Forms and checkout

Place it after consent banners and overlays close, so the scan sees what users see.

Axe pairs with Accessibility for a Lighthouse score threshold, and Check Computed Role and Check Computed Label on key controls. Use Pa11y if your team already audits with it.
